In fact, 70% of the world's optical and infrared collecting power is located in Chile. The film shares the diverse STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers and highlights all the skills necessary to keep the great observatories working. The show is narrated by Barbara Rojas-Ayala, a Chilean astronomer.
