Colorado Event Radar (“we,” “us,” or “the site”) helps residents and visitors discover verified public events in Colorado. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use coloradoeventradar.com, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

You can browse the site without creating an account. Our hosting, security, caching, and content-delivery providers may automatically process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referrer information, error logs, and security signals.

If you email us, we receive the address you use, your message, and any event information or files you voluntarily provide. We use submission information to review, verify, publish, correct, or respond to event listings. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Location and the Event Radar

The Radar can request your approximate or precise device location only after you press “Use my location” and approve the browser permission. The coordinates are used in your browser to calculate distance and sort nearby events. Colorado Event Radar does not intentionally store those coordinates on its server. You can deny or revoke location access through your browser settings and continue using the statewide map.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The site may use essential cookies or local storage for security, site operation, consent preferences, and fraud prevention. With the appropriate consent where required, we may also use Google Site Kit, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and related Google services to understand site use, measure performance, prevent invalid traffic, and display personalized, non-personalized, or limited advertising.

Google and its advertising partners may use first-party or third-party cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, and similar technologies to deliver, measure, personalize, limit, or protect advertising. Ad-related cookies may be associated with Google domains, including google.com, or DoubleClick domains. Services and external links

• Namecheap/EasyWP provides hosting, SSL, caching, backups, and security services.
• Google may provide Search Console, Site Kit, Analytics, AdSense, advertising, consent, and Maps directions services.
• Leaflet and OpenStreetMap provide interactive map software and map tiles. Requests for map tiles may disclose technical connection information to the tile provider.
• Pexels, Unsplash, and Pixabay may be identified as sources of appropriately licensed editorial images.
• Event organizers, venues, registration providers, and ticket sellers operate linked third-party sites under their own policies.

How information is used

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
• Verify, publish, update, and remove event information.
• Respond to inquiries, corrections, privacy requests, and submissions.
• Measure readership and understand which pages are useful.
• Display and measure advertising after the required notices and choices are available.
• Detect fraud, spam, security incidents, and invalid advertising traffic.

Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell personal information for money. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate, secure, measure, or monetize the site; disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or transferred as part of a business reorganization. Some privacy laws define targeted advertising disclosures as “sharing.” Where applicable, the consent and privacy controls on the site will provide available opt-out choices.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining accurate event records, responding to communications, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and protecting the site. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain processing, and to withdraw consent or opt out of certain advertising uses. You may also control cookies, location, and storage through your browser and use the site’s privacy controls where available.

Children’s privacy

Colorado Event Radar is a general-audience event-discovery service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request deletion.

Changes and contact
