Getting started

What can I do without an account?

You can browse public Colorado events, use the discovery filters, read Colorado Stories, open official sources, and follow ticket links. An account is needed for personalized account tools, submissions, comments, partner dashboards, and purchases.

How do I create an account?

Create an account with your email and password, complete the anti-spam check, then enter the one-time code sent to your inbox. After verification, choose the account experience that fits you.

I already registered but never verified. What should I do?

Use the normal sign-in page. An unverified account is returned to verification instead of being treated as a duplicate registration. You can request another code within the displayed attempt limits.

Where do I sign in?

Use the Sign In link in the site header or visit https://coloradoeventradar.com/venue-sign-in/. After sign-in, Colorado Event Radar sends you to the dashboard that matches your current account type.

Can a normal site account access WordPress administration?

No. Reader, Artist, Venue, and College accounts use Colorado Event Radar’s front-end dashboards. WordPress administration is reserved for the site owner.

Can I change my account type or plan?

Yes. Signed-in users can open Plan Management at https://coloradoeventradar.com/my-plan/ to review eligible options, switch plans, resume an eligible canceled subscription, or open secure billing management.

Plans, purchases, and billing

What does Radar Ad-Free include?

Radar Ad-Free is $1 per month and removes site advertising while you are signed in and paid access remains active. Any active paid Artist or Venue subscription also receives signed-in ad-free browsing.

What does the $5 Artist & Performer plan include?

It provides an Artist workspace, a customizable public artist profile, and show submissions for review. Up to two shows may be approved in a Colorado calendar month; payment does not guarantee publication.

What does Artist Pro include?

Artist Pro is $49 per month. It adds unlimited approved-show capacity, priority review without guaranteed approval, first-party event performance analytics, and the expanded Pro workspace.

What does Venue Pro include?

Venue Pro is $49 per month for an approved claimed venue. It adds venue analytics, enhanced profile and event-management tools, promotional opportunities, and priority support.

Does paying guarantee that my event will be published?

No. Every submitted event must still be accurate, appropriate, and supported by an official source. Paid plans change account capacity, tools, review priority, or purchased placement; they do not permit inaccurate or unsafe listings.

What is a Featured Event credit?

A $49 Featured Event purchase adds one promotion-day credit. You can spend that credit on one available day in one of the five shared front-page Featured Events slots.

What is Event Promotion?

Event Promotion is $199 and adds seven promotion-day credits. Credits can be scheduled on available days in the shared 90-day calendar; each confirmed day uses one credit.

What is Custom Event Marketing?

Custom Event Marketing begins with a request, not an automatic charge. Colorado Event Radar reviews the event, audience, timing, and campaign needs, then confirms scope and price before work begins.

Can I leave a tip?

When an eligible checkout offers a tip field, the tip is optional. Paying no tip does not affect account approval, event review, calendar availability, or placement.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Plan Management or the secure Stripe billing portal while signed in. Canceling stops future renewals; access normally continues through the paid-through date.

If I cancel and resume before my paid month ends, am I charged immediately?

An eligible subscription can be resumed for the remainder of its existing paid period without a second charge for that same period. The next charge is due at the next billing cycle unless you cancel again.

Are purchases refundable?

Purchases are generally final after digital access begins, calendar inventory is reserved, or custom work begins, except where law requires otherwise or Colorado Event Radar cannot provide the purchased service. Read the complete terms at https://coloradoeventradar.com/purchase-terms/.

Where can I see invoices or update my payment method?

Open the secure Stripe billing portal from Plan Management. It provides eligible subscription, invoice, and payment-method controls without exposing your full card details to Colorado Event Radar.

Artist accounts

Who can create an Artist account?

Performers, bands, DJs, speakers, creators, and other legitimate event talent can select the Artist experience after verifying their email. Complete profile information and official links make event review easier.

Can Artists customize a public page?

Yes. Approved Artist accounts can choose an available permanent slug, upload a profile image and wide cover, add a biography, city, website, and social links, and select a visual atmosphere. Public pages are designed for desktop and mobile discovery.

How do Artist show submissions work?

Submit complete, truthful event details and an official source from the Artist dashboard. The listing stays out of public discovery until it passes review. The $5 plan allows no more than two approvals per Colorado calendar month; Artist Pro has unlimited approval capacity.

What does priority review mean?

Priority review moves an eligible Artist Pro submission ahead of the standard queue when practical. It does not guarantee approval, publication, a particular position, or a specific review time.

Can an Artist buy featured placement?

Yes. An approved Artist account can purchase promotion-day credits, select an eligible approved event, and book available dates. The calendar prevents booking more days than the account owns or using a full slot.

Venue accounts

Can I add a venue that is not listed?

Yes. Choose the Venue experience, submit the new venue details, and provide enough accurate information to review the request. A new venue is not treated as claimed until the claim is approved.

How do I claim an existing venue?

Sign in with a verified email, choose the Venue experience, search for the venue, and submit the claim form. Colorado Event Radar reviews venue-control claims before assigning access.

Why do venue claims require approval?

A verified inbox proves control of an email address, not ownership or authority over a real venue. Review protects venues from impersonation and keeps public listing control with the correct organization.

What happens after my venue claim is approved?

The approved venue is attached to your Venue dashboard, and matching event history becomes available through that venue relationship. You can update the public venue identity, manage eligible events, view plan-specific analytics, and purchase promotion credits.

Can a venue customize its public page?

Yes. An approved claimed venue can add a wide cover, profile image, official website, address, social links, and a public description. Its permanent venue page and matching events remain connected.

What analytics can Venue Pro see?

Venue Pro presents first-party profile views, event views and impressions, ticket or official-source redirect clicks, top events, and related performance signals collected by Colorado Event Radar. Metrics may take time to appear and do not include another customer’s private account data.

Someone claimed my venue or identity incorrectly. What do I do?

Follow the account-integrity instructions at https://coloradoeventradar.com/account-integrity/. Send the public profile or venue URL and safe evidence of your role; never send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary identity documents by ordinary email.

College accounts

Who receives College access?

A user who registers and verifies an eligible .edu email receives the College experience automatically. The college area is designed to make official public campus events easier to search.

Can I search for a specific college?

Yes. The College Events area includes college search and filtering for the official institutional feeds currently connected to Colorado Event Radar.

Does a College account remove every ad?

No. College users can use the College Events area without ads, while ordinary public discovery pages may still show advertising. A separate paid subscription can provide broader signed-in ad-free browsing.

Why are some campus events missing?

Only eligible public events from connected official college sources are shown. Internal, student-only, virtual-only, incomplete, canceled, out-of-state, expired, or otherwise unverified records are not published.

Events, profiles, and support

Where do event facts and ticket links come from?

Colorado Event Radar uses official organizer, venue, college, or authorized ticket sources for the public facts it displays. Always check the linked official source for last-minute availability, schedule, lineup, and policy changes.

Why can an event be updated or removed?

Organizers may cancel, postpone, reschedule, sell out, change a lineup, or close registration. Colorado Event Radar may update or remove a listing when the official source changes or the listing no longer meets publication standards.

Can I submit a Colorado Story or comment on an event?

Verified signed-in accounts can submit original Colorado Stories and event comments. Contributions remain private until reviewed, and approval is not guaranteed.

Are public Artist and Venue profiles searchable?

Published, approved profiles are indexable and may appear in site or search-engine results. Owners can update their own profile, while Colorado Event Radar can pause a public URL or account when integrity or policy concerns require it.

How can I get help with a billing or account problem?

Use the support or account-integrity contact shown on the relevant policy page. Include your account email, order number when applicable, affected page or event URL, and a concise description. Never email your password or full card number.

Still stuck?
